Huis Ten Bosch is a theme park that reproduces the streets of the Netherlands, and the designer is Nihon Sekkei Co., Ltd. I was mainly engaged in the exterior design of the building for three years until the opening at the Huis Ten Bosch design room operated by Nihon Sekkei. Huis Ten Bosch was planned on reclaimed land for an industrial park in Omura Bay as a sister facility of Nagasaki Holland Village, which had run out of land for construction expansion after repeated expansions. In a construction environment similar to that of reclaimed land in the Netherlands and reclaimed land in Nagasaki, the streets have been reproduced as realistically as possible based on thorough research by experts in each field. The design team was a mixed team of members gathered from design offices, general contractors, and design companies.
I will explain Huis Ten Bosch, which no one talks about anymore.
